There are people wo you look at for the 1st time and you  understand that he a real leader, a man of unrelenting vitality and charisma, which somehow attracts magnetically and at the same time completely mixes all pre-prepared thoughts and theses, forcing to return to the  page with questions, diligently learned by heart on the eve of the evening. However, only after an hour of communication with such person, you come out with an unconditional understanding that everything is possible in this life and  the main thing is to think correctly. Our interlocutor, whose meeting we had been waiting for several months, Arthur Mkhitaryan, is just among them. During the interview, we tried to clarify the basic rules of success, asked about hobbies  and also learnt about new ambitious projects and plans for establishing contacts with extraterrestrial civilizations.

You are the founder of the TARYAN Group, which includes one of the largest construction companies in Kiev “Poznyakizhilstroy”, as well as the creator and ideologist of the first lifestyle resort TSARSKY. How do you manage to combine all these directions, when there are only 24 hours in the day?

To answer briefly, I have whiped a professional team and focus on the right issues. In addition to professionalism, it is important that the person really “burns up” with his work. Then it is enough for people to give directions and sometimes pay attention to the process of its implementation, in order to keep the connection between the goal and the process. With such an approach, there may still be some time left for yourself.

What are your next projects? We have heard about a grand residential complex of more than 100,000 square meters. What we can expect as residents of the capital in the near future?

We began to build the unique residential complex TARYAN TOWERS, where we combined the best ideas and world practices. Naturally, during creation of the complex only the most qualitative and environmentally friendly materials, only the latest technologies are used. But, let’s not go deeper into building technology and the brand of concrete, it’s boring!

Let me tell you why TARYAN TOWERS will be interesting to future tenants. TARYAN TOWERS are three towers with roofs that we use, which we have connected with two-level glass bridges, through sections in which a panorama of all Kiev will open. Each roof has its own concept: an author’s panoramic restaurant, a year-round park with a lake and a winter garden, a museum of the future with a planetarium, an extensive area of innovation and entertainment. There will be everything: a special format TSARSKY with indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness zone, a sauna, a hammam, SPA. TARYAN TOWERS will also have its own shopping mall with a boutique gallery, as in a modern 5-star hotel, a supermarket, a children’s school for early development and many other interesting things.

We create a new way of life that was never before! Just imagine: you wake up in your apartment with full-wal glazing, look at the city, put on your dressing gown, press the elevator button and in a couple of minutes you are already in your own swimming pool. You squirt out of the water,  breakfast is already waiting you for on the table . You sit on a summer terrace, drink your freesia under the rays of a warm sun, plan your day and understand that you love this life!

I am sure that the inhabitants of the capital will have the opportunity to enjoy the new beautiful architectural complex from the famous British architect John Douza, which, it seems to us, will become one of the sights of Kiev. To this we strive! There are no analogues of this house in Ukraine at the moment. I am sure that if TARYAN TOWERS is located in other cities of the world: Singapore, Dubai, Tokyo, New York, they will be considered if not the best residential complex, then one of them.

When is TARYAN TOWERS put into operation?

Construction started relatively recently, but we have already gone “from the ground”, we are actively building and expecting to complete the first section of TARYAN TOWERS somewhere in 1,5 years. In parallel, a year later, a second tower will be completed and another year will be needed to complete the third one. The height of each section is 31st floor and during construction all of them can work autonomously. We have calculated the time so that there would not be a feeling that you are living on the construction site until the residents make repairs – the towers will be completed one after another. That is, after the commissioning of the first tower, it will be possible to live comfortably – there will be restaurants, supermarket, and everything that is needed that a person expects from premium house.

Every businessman has his own success story. When did you feel successful for the first time?

Success – is a very relative concept. The main thing is to try to be the best in that you can do the best. For the first time, I felt successful when I was in the Artek Children’s Camp. I was 11 years old and I got into a squad with senior pupils. Artek had a lot of team activities, running, swimming, football, and I, as a younger, was not allowed to participate. But I remember, I was entrusted with one of the contests, and I was able to win! As I remember now, it was a non-standard competition where it was necessary to blow, so that the sheet of paper from the point “A” fell to the point “B”. I put so much in every breath, I was counting so as not to blow too much, so that the sheet does not fly out of the track, but not too weak, so that it does not remain in place. As a result of my efforts I won. From joy mixed with a clear sense of complete surprise, the guys picked me up! And then, for the first time, I experienced this “feeling of success.”. Now, being the founder of a development company, manager of many projects, I often feel like these. I try to do everything that depends on me, so as not to let the people who count on me down, whether they are parents, partners, investors, employees or friends, I try to do everything to meet their expectations.

What qualities are needed for a real leader?

When i am asked such a question, I think of the leader who i would. It must be a purposeful, decent and benevolent person with an interest in life and in its knowledge.

What do you most appreciate in people, and with what, on the contrary, do not intend to put up with business or personal relations?

Most of all, I value the love of life in people, regardless of gender, kind of activity, social status and other frames, a person is happy with life and always on a positive “wave”. With such people, I want to spend time, share ideas, discuss plans, live a life.

Do not intend to put up with hostility. Everything can happen, everyone can be wrong, but neglect leaves little chance for further communication.

Judging by your construction projects, offering your guests a completely new level of comfort, which includes parks on the roofs, and thermal pools, and panoramic lounge bars, you are an enthusiastic person. Do you have a hobby? What do you like to do in your free time?

I am a person who is passionate about life. Therefore, depending on the place, time and mood, my hobbies change. Today I can go to the planetarium, tomorrow, to the cinema, go to the restaurant or concert the day after tomorrow, jump on parachute, go for diving or invite friends and stay in the office, go home and watch a good movie. When it comes to sports, lately it has grown into mixed views, where boxing, swimming, simulators and natural movement are united, all that is connected with the person’s own weight – movements close to the nature of man in natural conditions. I like to study everything that is connected with the past and the future. I like to study history and archeology, as well as everything connected with space and stars. In my childhood, I even dreamed of establishing a connection between earthlings and alien beings, to act kind of connector. Recently, I have been actively involved in the study of biology and physics in order to better understand what and how everything functions in this world.

In your childhood you dreamed of becoming a traveler. And with so many companies and business partners all over the world, one can assume that have become. Do you have any favorite places on the map?

Most of all, I love places where I have not  been yet. There are still a few countries left, and I postpone my trips to find the most appropriate moments. Because, planning a trip, anticipating what awaits me there, I am charged with positive emotions. Dive into the culture of the country, in its history, acquaintance with new people, kitchen, architecture – all this very captures!

Many creative individuals are subject to emotional expression. Could you be found when listening to music? Do you like to succumb to the sounds of your favorite track and, for example, to perform a solo on an imaginary guitar or drums?

I’m pretty emotional, but I try to keep my grip under control when it’s necessary. And in the close circle of friends, relatives, of course, I can give myself the will and have fun with good music. But these rare moments are an exception rather than a rule.

What performances have you been visiting recently?

The last couple of weeks I am in Ukraine, so I’ve been to many concerts that were in Ukraine: ViAgra, Agon, NeAngel, Griby, Alexeyev, vrema i steklo. In Greece, went to listen to Salomun. It all depends on where I am and what interesting can be there to watch and listen to.

You are not afraid to try and innovate. If you were offered to finish the phrase “Fear is …”, how would it sound?

I would divide innovation and fear. There is nothing terrible in introducing innovations. At least in terms of our construction, we do not use technologies that we do not know about, do not put experiments on our projects and residents. We study world experience, we take only what works efficiently and qualitatively and unite together, we introduce these innovations in Ukraine.

If we talk about the fear of knowing something new, then neither is it. If we do not go forward and constantly try, we will simply stay in the Stone Age. If we talk about fear, as about the concept, then the first thing that comes to mind is the cowardice, thinking a little about the instinct of self-preservation, and then comes the understanding that fear is just your personal focus on the negative event. Fear, in itself, does not mean anything until a person begins to attach special importance to something and considers it terrible. Fear is excessive focusing on the negative that scares you. No event in itself matters, besides the meaning that we put into it.
